Assumptions & how to read this
Position and weight. Your selected aero CdA applies on flats and descents. Upright CdA is 0.08 m² higher on grades of 3% or more. System weight includes 10.5 kg of bike and carried gear.
Power. These are pedaling targets, not guaranteed averages or recommended sustainable efforts. Downhill means grades of −1% or steeper; rises use flat or climbing watts. Work is mechanical energy at the cranks, not a carbohydrate calculation.
Course and conditions. Modeled distance is 93.2 km with 1,119 m of conditioned elevation gain. The organizer lists 93.3 km and 1,247 m. A provisional straight 1.7 km addition accounts for extra distance. No T1/T2 time is added. Dry handling level 3 and Crr 0.0035 are fixed.
Weather. The September 9 forecast is fixed for this edition, using coastal and high-point conditions, elevation, arrival time and conservative rider-height wind. Race-day buttons change the weather, not your physical setup. Bike start is assumed at 07:30 CEST.
Model checks. The initial 70 kg pilot was compared with direct course simulations.
Sharing and downloads. A setup link reopens your chosen race day, weight, CdA and watts. Those numbers are visible in the link. The download is the full interactive calculator in one HTML file for offline use; it opens with the starting setup. Your saved comparison stays in this tab.
