# BikeCRT **Cycling, connected.** > We want athletes to be the best versions of themselves and to understand how their decisions on the bike result in performance. We develop sophisticated simulation tools based on physics and physiology to provide deeper understanding in the context of fitness, training, racing and the course. We offer a connected platform for understanding the interconnected system of rider, bike, equipment, course and environment. Past results inform present assumptions about where you are and help you plan future races. CRT stands for Course Review Tool, but it has become so much more. ## What we value - **Self-knowledge and growth:** We value self-actualization, self-knowledge, learning and discovery. - **Accuracy and useful insight:** We take a marginal gains approach to truth and accuracy, with pragmatic advice. Some insight is often better than no insight. - **Play and adventure:** We value play, discovery and adventure. Cycling should be fun. ## Cycling is a system You, your bike, your gear, your fitness, the course and the environment are all connected in an interdependent, evolving system. Past, present and future are connected too. BikeCRT helps map the system and the relationships within it. Public guidance reviewed 2026-10-07. The free Kona calculator uses physics-based course simulations run in advance and checked against separate simulation cases for fast browser comparisons. Start with the free calculator for a bike estimate or comparison. Keep a setup, change one input and see the difference. The full planner adds section pacing, positions, fuel and saved plans with an athlete account. ## Public guidance - [Question toolkit](https://www.bikecrt.com/agents.html): Athlete questions, useful follow-ups and supported calculator/planner experiences. - [Structured toolkit](https://www.bikecrt.com/agents.json): The same curated context, plus a small documented setup-link interface. It grants no account access. ## Kona 2026 We want Kona athletes to have the best race possible. Plan the bike with the whole race in mind, bringing pacing, position, conditions, hydration and nutrition together. - [Free calculator](https://www.bikecrt.com/kona-2026/): Compare bike time, target power, aero setup, weather and historical bike percentiles. Keep a setup to see time gained or lost. Calculations run in the browser. No sign-in. - [Kona planner](https://kona.bikecrt.com/kona): Section pacing and positions, dated weather, fuel, hydration and saved plans. Account required. The Kona race planner is live and free with an account. The wider BikeCRT app for exploring rides and routes is in development and coming soon. Direct agent connections are in development; no public MCP endpoint is offered here. Calculations run in the calculator’s browser controls; a prepared setup link alone is not a result. Start with the free Kona calculator, or open the Kona planner to explore pacing, position, conditions, food and drink together.
